​       Deshawn was born and raised in The Bronx, New York. He fell in love with acting at the age of 10 and hasn't looked back since. He earned his MFA in Acting from California Institute of the Arts and his BA in Theatre from The City College of New York. Growing as an actor is a task that he is fully committed to and he hopes to inspire others who dare to dream.
